The New House

So, we're now in our fourth house in Rexburg, and are building. Here are some shots.

It took a bit of chipping away of rock to get the foundation in.

The garage has a suspended slab, so we could put a shop underneath.

The door to the right is the shop. The onto the left is a little cold storage room.

View out the back windows.

Nice deck.

Jann's kitchen has windows.

From the street.

Sheet rocking.

Looks kind of huge from the back.

We put in the floor, to save a bit of money. It is circle sawn doug fir.

Sam, taking a break.

Master bedroom all done.

Looking toward the kitchen.

Sam, nailing in  a 3-incher.

All done, and Jack sweeping up. Today we put the first coat of finish on, so the cabinet guy can come put in the kitchen. After everyone is done building and wiring and all, we'll put another coat of finish on.

McAlla's Paramour

McAlla married Parker Paramore. It was a very sweet thing, and he seems like a righteous dude.

One big boy, and three smaller ones. Thad, Jarom, Matthew, and Adam.

Brooklyn, Ruby, Laura, Tory, and Kate.

Adam and Tory are so photogenic.

Rosebud after sticking her hands in the snow.

Laura talks to Ruby about the temple.

Joanne and Deanna. I mean Jann and Jill.

There's Erika, but where's Brett?

Grandma Murdock being very happy to be having her picture taken.

You can see them through the crowd.

Whoa, now you can really see them.

Jeff photobombing.

Grandpa snaps some of the Schills.

I snap all of the Birches.

Notice that the only two that are hiding are Brett and his eldest.

Yep, we had to have at least one of me..

The reception was in a hangar with a Piper Twin Comanche and a Beach Bonanza. Sweet

There was dancing at the end.

Sam rocks the laser.

Christmas '17

No grandkids for Christmas. But we tried to have fun anyway.

New ornament. Maybe I should make one of everyone. Adam thinks instead I should make one of these for everyone.

We did some skiing. Occasionally it was clear.

Adam loves his board he got last year, and Same loves his brand new board from Santa.

Very small Tetons.

Better neck gator.

Sam says he feels like a big boy now.

Jack, trying to find all the cats on his shirt.

Laura, reading one of the many Harry books we got.

Jann's helmet to match her coat.

Nobody wrapped my hammock.

Resting after a grueling day of opening presents.

Oops. Sam busted out the edge of his brand new board. It's ok. We have the technology to fix it. The skill.
