I was a bit late arriving because I left after classes Friday. So as I was driving down, I texted Jeff to see if they were in the air yet. The texted this back.
Brice and Ben flew Brice's old chuck glider.
Brice's 1980s vintage Sorcerer. It was pretty delicate, but is very cool.
She flew beautifully.
We launched the Vanderer into the wet, rainy sky. She always flies so gracefully.
But this time, we had a radio glitch, and lost control. She dived in from about 50 ft. I've repaired her..
Next day. Jeff with his Moth. Can you tell it was cold and rainy?
The venerable J-dub.
Jack with the even more venerable Zagi.
I finally flew the Fish for some substantial time. I like it, but still have some things to work out. For instance, on high rates, she tends to roll when looping. I think I need to replace one of the aileron servos.
At one point I think we had seven planes in the air. Look, Laura.
Jeff finally flew his Scorpion without crashing it!
Paul, taking photo, Mark, Sam, Jeff, Brice, Jack, Ben, and me. See Ben's funky Horton Ho-29?
See y'all again next year.
