Emily and Rory came up for the long weekend, and insisted on going camping with the kayaks. We went to Jackson Lake, and camped at Colter Bay. It was muy beautiful and fun.
Our weather has been unusually hot and dry this year, but just when we decided to go camping, rain was in the forecast. And then it was actually there. It rained all the first night. But we all stayed dry and warm.
Boats. And Adam.
Grandma Jann loving up Madelyn.
Just give her some milk.
Big Jack does not appreciate sunscreen. But if you're going out on the water, you must.
Waiting for the boaters to return, Grandpa thinks about throwing Madelyn high into the air.
We kayaked in the oxbow of the Snake just below Jackson Lake dam.
Ian/Jack concentrating on his rhythm.
Big daddy, wearing his girl.
Rory's cairn.
Jack, trying to knock it down.
Jann resting in the sun, while baby eats.
Even though it rained all night, it got smoky again, because of all the fires close-ish by.
Adam contemplating the benefits of being an uncle.
Sam, fully recovered from his first migraine. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
