My home-brew Stoat. Not so successful, because of radio problems. I've got a new system, and will install it and try again. I think it will be a little zoomer when it gets properly fitted out.
Brice flying his antique Scorpion.
Not so windy yet, but it will get going.
Mark, with a 3D printed thing that didn't survive its first landing. Flew well up to that point though..
Ben, with a Flite-Test foam thing, that flew surprisingly well.
Another Scorpion launch.
Mark, being a little comfortable.
Eric, trying out a new technique. Didn't work so swell, as he couldn't find his plane in time.
Four boys flying. Jack's hair is COVID long.
Brice launching the Saggita.
Approaching microburst. When it hit, it was blowing grit everywhere. Fortunately Brice made us all land beforehand, so we could all get in the cars.
Eric's DAW 1-26.
Mark's light JW.
That Scorp is gorgeous.
Sam and his JW.
Big Jack broke a servo in his JW, so spent the rest of the time with the Zagi. That thing has sure taken a beating over the decade or more of its life, and is still going strong.
Launching together.
Eric had his FPV drone.
All but me..
All in all, once of the windiest Point Fests on record. Some amazing flying. Sorry we missed you Grandpa and the Virginians.
