XC at Harriman

The kids had Monday (MLKJr Day) and Tuesday off. I had Monday off, but no classes on Tuesday, so I skipped work, and we all went skiing at Harriman State Park, on the Henrys Fork. All except Sam, who had arranged to go sledding yet again with his friends. (But didn't end up going anyway.)

Big Jack is a pro on skis.

Adam was a bit less enthusiastic.

There's a teeny warming hut that we eat lunch in. We shared the space with a nice lady from Florida, out visiting her cabin in Island Park. Her husband stayed outside and made some calls.

It's a bit of a step down if you want to use the potty.

All of us. We are getting to be a smaller group.

We say about 200 trumpeter swans, and countless other waterfowl.
