Before, During and After Christmas

All of our kids were home, and most of the Murdocks were in town too. Except Sara. And Jake and Ruby. And Ester/Pearl.

After scurrying down the rocks and dirt, we came to East Fork Indian Creek, where we just had to take photos.

Then up the other side to a deep dark cave. Here we have Grandpa, Ed, adn Brett.

Pete said they found porcupine quills. And also they found a hawk egg. Matthew found the true meaning of rotten egg smell when he broke it.

For Christmas, Mo got a stuffed mouse that squeaks when you hit it. And smells like catnip. She played and played with it. Still does, occasionally.

Actually, Adam's most cherished gift was a sampler of Old Spice (lady-scented body wash).

..And the big surprise is that Em is risking her life in child bearing. We're rooting for Charlie Brown O'Connor.

After the holiday, we went to Jackson. Rory, Em and Sam went up the big lifts. It was Sam's first time boarding in the higher elevations. He kept up, they said, but was so tired that he spoke not a word on the way home. The rest of us stayed on the lower lifts and had a relaxing day.

The skirt boys. Jack left his coat home (intentionally?). So we had to scrounge. Amy had a jacket, and I lent my extra sweater. Brian had to wear his mom's jacket. They looked pretty funny.
