Darby Wind Cave

We had a pleasant hike up to the Darby Wind Cave this afternoon. I didn't notice on the way up, but on the way down, the flowers were beautiful. It was rather warm, and I was plodding a bit on the way up. Hiking is much more fun on the way down.

Dead Person Rock. One person gave her life, and four lost theirs, in August 1951.

Lunch by the waterfall.

Maybe it was also the ice cave.

I didn't go through the squeeze hole, but Jann, Laura and Jack did. This is Jann coming back.

Lots of wind right here.

You can see Laura's elbow silhouetted against Jann.

Shower afterwards.

What, 45 or 50 ft tall?

More bathing.

Flower shot.

Ian Jack, on the loaf of bread.

We also went to the taco bus, in celebration of Sam's birthday. Hope he had fun.
