Car Campin' at Jackson

Jann decided we needed to get out of the house, so we went to Jackson Friday. Laura and Pete were working, so we took just the little boys. The big kids came up Friday evening, and we spent Saturday together.

The rock at Jenny Lake, as usual.

There were many rocks.

We had a bit of rain overnight, but we were all happy in the morning. We stayed at Gros Ventre campground, which is a bit crowded, but nice.

Pete was definitely not texting in the wilderness.

Pete contemplating jumping from the rock he's on to the one Mom and Laura waded to. Jann said she didn't want him killing or injuring himself. In the end, he decided he didn't want to jump, because then he'd have to wade back anyway.

Jann wanted to wade out to that last rock on the left, but it got  too deep, so she came back.

In the end, Pete and Sam found other rocks to jump between, that were almost as fun..

Sam's and Pete's techniques differed.

After wading around in his jeans, Jack decited to wear a kilt back to the car, and I carried his pants.
